Goinc Information and Help
goinc is a Google home page module that keeps track of average and total credit that users generate in Boinc projects. it is also able to drill down to host details by user if the account key (also called authentication token) for that user and project is known.
you may add Goinc to your personalized homepage here:

the raw XML is located at:
the gadget is really simple to use: once you’ve added it, you are required to enter at least one user id or authentication token, and to select the project from the drop down that user is doing work for. you can keep track of more than one user per project, up to five user/project combinations. your preferences may look something like this:
there has been some confusion about what the user id or authentication token actually is. the user id is the unique integer that a specific project assigns to you. this is a public facing number that is used to identify your account for just very basic statistics info. so, for example, my user id for the cpdn project is 74949. you can view my public profile on the cpdn website — not a whole lot of info there. if you can figure out your competition’s public id number, you can keep track of their credits. entering this basic information will give you a gadget that looks something like this, with three user ids being monitored:
the other identifier is what they call an account key/authentication token. this is, from what i can tell, an MD5 hash of something. it’s a 32 hexadecimal string that identifies your account, but also lets you login to manage your account options. with this identifier you can get more than just basic average, total and time information — you can get information about each host that you have associated with your account for the project you are boinc’ing for. if you enter this auth token, a nifty little [+] symbol shows up after your username in the gadget. clicking on that [+] symbol shows you the host information for the account key/auth token you entered. looks something like this:
if you have forgotten, or don’t know where to find the account key, simply go to the project home page, and you should be able to enter your email address at which point the system will send you a copy of the account key/auth token. here’s the cpdn “forgot my account key” page:
